About Me
My name is Kamille Smith, the founder and tutor of Reading Ready. I taught in the school district as an elementary school teacher for 10+ years. I hold a Master’s Degree in English/Language Arts and licensure in this specialty for students Pre-k-Grade 5. I truly enjoy teaching reading to elementary school students.
With a big heart for young learners and a love for all things reading and writing, I help students build confidence in their literacy skills while having fun along the way! Whether it’s learning to read, exploring new vocabulary, or crafting creative stories, I meet kids right where they are and help them grow at their own pace.
I bring patience, positivity, and a sprinkle of playfulness to every session. With experience in early childhood and elementary education, I know how to make phonics exciting, grammar make sense, and reading feel like an adventure.
When I'm not tutoring, you can find me curled up with a good book, writing silly poems, or baking cookies with too many chocolate chips. 🍪📚

Canellation Policy
All Cancellations should be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. For Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, no penalty fee will be charged.
All Cancellations after the 24 hour period or No-Shows will be charged the full session amount. Please discuss with me directly for special circumstances or situations.
